Just a quick update on my chickens!  After a long winter, the girls are happy to be clucking around the yard pecking on the new blades of grass, digging in the mulch for worms and bugs and chasing Olivia my dog!  Egg production has been ‘egg’cellent!  I am quite pleased  with my decision a year ago to start raising chickens by the sea! Here’s a few pics of my girls in their coop and around the yard!

Incorporating the American flag in your decor is quite easy!  I have put together some of my favorite pictures of interior rooms that have brought the American flag inside as a great design feature and/or accent.  I just love Red, White & Blue and have decorated many areas inside my home with the American flag theme. Mystic Knotwork

I love using nautical rope and knot decor in many of my design projects and am always looking for new ideas and product lines that I can incorporate into my home.  Recently, I came across a family run business called Mystic Knotwork  located in Mystic, Connecticut that I just had to share. Mystic Knotwork hand makes all of its rope and knot decor items –  a tradition that has been carried on by owner Matthew Beaudoin’s  family for generations. They’ve perfected the art of macramé, splicing, sennit work, and other fancy knot work to  create a variety of home decor items and even jewelry that you’ll absolutely fall in love with.

If you’re “tying the knot” or even just having a dinner party, take a peak at the white nautical coasters, napkin rings, and center piece place cards.
